Usually Metamask is enough to cover all but some prefer other wallets like Zerion. Solflare is needed for airdrops that are build on the Solana network. Subwallet is optional since it’s less common for airdrops but might be needed for some airdrops.

Exchanges:
Necessary to buy crypto (for example ethereum) to cover gas fees when you want so sell the token you’ve received from airdrop
If you only participate for the 100% free airdrops you can put a small amount into your wallet (like metamask) to cover gas fees
