TokenHunters has a pretty widespread platform for how young the project is, and it can be a little intimidating to get started! The purpose of this guide is to get newcomers up to speed with the platform and its goals.
As an introduction, TokenHunters is a platform geared towards discovering and engaging in web3 projects (brand new, existing, and upcoming), while earning airdrops along the way. They have a plethora of resources available already around airdrop tracking. A good place to get started with what they have to offer is their tutorial section found here: https://tokenhunters.xyz/tokenhunters-tutorials/
Once you’re up to speed with what they have to offer, you should register on their site either using an email/password or your web3 wallet. Feel free to use my referral code https://tokenhunters.xyz?ref=1526 or simply visit their home page and register at the top right of any page.
Once you’re registered, visit your personal terminal here https://tokenhunters.xyz/terminal/ and take a look around. You’ll find TokenHunters has built in social features along with everything you’d expect to be able to personalize your account and track your progress. Check each of the sections on the left side of your terminal to discover their XP system, gems, and badges for both personal milestones and quest completion.
Next, check out your personal profile by using the dropdown list in the top right and selecting “My Hunter Profile”. This is the social section of the site I mentioned in the previous paragraph. Feel free to post your profile links in the comments and I’ll be sure to give everyone a follow! My personal profile is https://tokenhunters.xyz/members/0x8eca96806675ed3882c844a8d2bb09005eead9bf/, so be sure to check me out as well 😉 Be sure to check your messages, as you’ll likely have some welcome mails from TokenHunters themselves, including a code you can redeem for some free gems in the “Hunting gems” section of your terminal found here https://tokenhunters.xyz/terminal/my-gems/
After all this, you should be ready to dig into the meat of what TokenHunters has to offer! Start by joining their discord here: https://discord.gg/token-hunters-1088874085993431150 – they have all sorts of information available along with official links (some of which I’ll review below as a jumping off point for you).
Your first steps once you’ve got your grounding on the platform should be visiting their web3 affiliates and completing the social tasks on them. These all trace back to one master quest on Galxe which you can use as a jumping off point:
- Main Galxe quest: https://app.galxe.com/quest/DqEtqPDdbQrC8zTg8c8Dtj/GCTUNtkxVB?referral_code=GRFr2JXrZGm4kbtjptDOb2fkxkyU6NkO9ZG1BewIxSX4Ej3
- QuestN: https://app.questn.com/quest/927593048157278630
- Intract: https://www.intract.io/project/tokenhunters-zU_Gdi
- TaskOn: https://taskon.xyz/space/464240
If you’ve done all this and are itching for more ways to get involved with the project, you’ll definitely want to check out their ongoing alpha hunter chest and hunter keys mints. Starting at 1 MATIC for a bronze key and 7.5 MATIC for a hunter chest, these are a great opportunity to get a headstart in the TokenHunters community. Supplies are limited and you have only a week or two (maybe as little as a few days if minting keeps up at this pace) to secure your own. Hunter chests come in three rarities (bronze, silver, and gold) and you will need a matching key to open your chest.
- Alpha Hunter Chests (7.5 MATIC) https://opensea.io/collection/alpha-hunters-chest/overview
- Hunter Keys (1-5 MATIC) https://tokenhunters.xyz/mint-hunters-keys/
Currently the only way to obtain gold keys is through interacting with the platform or as a reward for minting multiple keys or chests at a time, it doesn’t appear you’re able to mint them individually.
Hopefully this guide was helpful to some who might be intimidated by the size and scope of this newly launched platform, happy hunting!
