About Basketball.xyz
Basketball.xyz is an onchain fantasy basketball game built on the Base network and backed by AllianceDAO (ALL15). The project brings the thrill of basketball fandom into the Web3 world, letting players draft their own all-star squads, compete in daily tournaments, and collect digital player cards with real ownership on the blockchain.
In the beta version, users can draft NBA players and participate in tournaments during the preseason. Each player starts with 1,000 testnet USDC from the in-game faucet and 420 points to get started. Points can be used to rip packs and collect new players, or players can be bought directly with testnet USDC.
Tournaments currently feature 36 NBA players, and the community plays an active role by nominating their favorite athletes to help shape the evolving lineup. As the project gears up for its mainnet launch, in-app bridges will make it easier for users to move assets across chains.

Step by Step Guide
1.
Onboard
– Visit: https://beta.basketball.xyz/
– Connect your X account.
2.
Faucet
– In the right top corner click the faucet.
– Claim 1,000 USDC from our faucet.
– Each new account is also credited with 420 points to rip packs.
3.
Collect player cards
– Click on the “packs” button in the left menu.
– Collect players by ripping packs with points.
– Get points, Open packs, Build your collection/team.
– Or purchase players directly from the marketplace with USDC.
4.
Build your lineup
– Click on the “Draft” button in the left menu.
– Build your tournament lineup by selecting 1 to 8 players: 3 Guards, 3 Forwards, 1 Center, and 1 player of any position.
– Once ready, hit the safe button.
– Your now ready for the next tournament.
5.
Tournament
– Tournaments are held daily for preseason, and weekly for the regular season.
– Tournament begins when the first game starts.
– When the tournament ends, the top 5 players per position (Guard, Forward, and Center) will be chosen.
– The greater your share of these top players, the more points you will earn!
– Each player can play up to 3 games.
– Once exhausted, you can boost them for 1% of your position.
– Fees collected go towards shares buyback.

– Next, click on profile.
– Here you can find your rank, portfolio, activity and more.
